West Seattle Low-Level Bridge - Seattle, WA Bright Engineering assisted in developing the criteria, calculations and reports for load rating main spans of the complex bridge. This low-level bridge is comprised of a 480-ft main "swing" span and 178-ft tail spans post-tensioned single cell concrete box girder and segmental staged construction. Similar transverse deck and longitudinal analyses were performed. The effects of eccentric loading, elastic creep and shrinkage of concrete, and prestressing were considered in both transverse and longitudinal analyses.
