About Ade J. Bright
Ade Bright

Ade Bright is the Founder and President of Bright Engineering, Inc., a structural engineering consulting service established in 1997. His prior experience includes working for Parametrix, Inc., Jordan Associates, Inc., ABKJ, Wright Forssen Associates, Magnusson Klemencic Associates (formerly SWMB) and BRC Acoustics (formerly Towne Richard Chaudiere).

Ade Bright has over 26 years of structural engineering experience and has worked on a number of major international and local projects including Lacey V Murrow Bridge, Downtown Seattle Tunnel Project, Sound Transit Light Rail Beacon Hill Tunnel, Sumner, Puyallup, South Tacoma and Lakewood Commuter Rail Stations, Seahawks Football/Soccer Stadium and Exhibition Center, WSU Recreation Center, Bagley Wright Theater, Brightwater Regional Wastewater Treatment Facility, and Denny Way CSO Mercer Street & South Lake Union Tunnels.

Ade attended the University of Washington and received his BSCE in 1976 and his MSCE (Structures) in 1977. He holds Civil and Structural Professional Registrations in Washington, Oregon, Colorado and Hawaii.

Ade maintains active professional memberships in ACI, ASCE, ACEC, SEAW and The International Association of Foundation Drilling. He is currently serving on the ACEC/Sound Transit Liaison Committee, ACEC Washington Education and Diversity Committee, and the City of Federal Way Parks and Recreation Commission.

Ade was actively involved in coaching youth premier soccer for over 15 years, taking one of the teams to win the 1996 National Championship. He recently retired from coaching and now devotes much of his time and energy to the professional engineering organizations. Having a strong commitment to education, he hopes to assist these organizations in exposing students to the engineering field, as well as supporting continued educational offerings to young Engineers for continuous growth and improvement.
