City of Kelso - Landslide Repair (500 Block N 16th Ave.) - Kelso, WA Bright Engineering provided conceptual and final structural engineering design services, and engineering during construction for repairing landslide along the road way in a residential area that traverses a steep hill. The work consisted of: Evaluation of cost and viable repair options and wall types Recommendation of wall system with less disruption to the residence and that could be constructed without inducing future landslide A system that could be constructed in a short amount of time as this is an active landslide Final design was a 25 ft.-high x 110 ft.-long concrete cylinder pile wall with timber lagging.
